Adherent to the realistic trend in art, K. Sanadze is first of all known as a portrait-painter. He has created a whole gallery of highly artistic, skilfully painted portraits of the representative images of toilers, corn-growers, tea-leaf collectors, shepherds...

The painter likes to depict landscapes of the contemporary and old Georgia revealing the beauty of Nature and architecture of the country. The talent of the artist is indeed full of variety that can also be seen in his paintings of still life. He paints flowers, fruits, details of costume, articles of everyday life of the Georgian People.

Being under the influence of different artistic trends in 1920-1930, K. Sanadze created his own pieces. At the same time one must note an extraordinary richness and diversity of the methods of expression used by the Master in his practice. His methods are free of banality and monotony.
